About Us
Campion Constructions continues the quality work and reputation of its predecessor, W.J. Bowie Pty Ltd Builders. Directed by experienced builder William ‘Bill’ Bowie, W.J Bowie Pty Ltd successfully built and renovated hundreds of homes throughout Melbourne and Victoria over fifty years.
William Bowie’s son, Campbell Bowie, worked as a carpenter under William’s mentorship for many years, before becoming project manager for W.J. Bowie Pty Ltd while obtaining his Certificate IV in Building and Construction and Victorian builder’s registration.
With William’s retirement in 2022 after more than sixty years in the industry, Campbell has taken on the role of Director and now trades under Campion Constructions Pty Ltd. He brings with him the great reputation, experience and wisdom of his father, Bill.
Cam is committed to every project he takes on, maintaining the highest quality in his work, whether it’s a new build, renovation, extension or small-scale carpentry project. The Campion Constructions team is made up of experienced subcontractors, architects and suppliers.

Working with Alison Dodds Architects, we have renovated three different apartments with a simple and modern aesthetic, all within the same building in South Yarra.
St Kilda East Ground Floor Apartment Renovation
This two-bedroom, ground floor apartment in St Kilda East required a complete renovation of the kitchen, bathroom and laundry facilities.
South Melbourne Shopfront and Studio Apartment
Located at the city end of South Melbourne, we aimed to create a flexible-use commercial ground floor property, with a functional and newly renovated residential apartment above.
